Our Mission

Our Mission

To establish and uphold God’s good name

by offering a new foundation of hope and truth
rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Foundation

God has inclined John & Jo Beth’s hearts toward cross-cultural ministry in East Asia. In obedience to the Scriptures and the leading of the Holy Spirit, they are pursuing the commitment to serve as short-term missionaries in Japan.

We are charged to make disciples of all nations.
-Matthew 28:19-20, NIV

The Lord calls his people to represent Him to the world.
-Romans 10:13-14, NIV

The global work of the gospel is accomplished only by God’s will and empowerment.
-Acts 1:8, NIV

God is faithful and He will accomplish all that he pleases to do.
-Isaiah 55:10-11, NIV

God purposed not merely to preserve His people, the Israelites, but also to glorify himself in the sight of all nations through them (Isaiah 49:6). Likewise, the Lees believe that God wants to bring His salvation to Japan so that they might be “a light to the Gentiles” throughout the ends of the Earth.

What will we do?

We will serve with Reach Global for two years with the potential of serving in the following ways:

• Setting the foundations for future ministries in Tokyo.
• Partnering with the local Japanese church for evangelism and discipleship in the local community.
• Training and equipping nationals to study and teach the Bible.
• Helping with our team's prayer strategy to reach Tokyo
• Adapting or remodeling the Ministry Center in Higashi-Kurume.
• Occasional projects in tsunami disaster areas.
• Japanese language learning.
• Explore the potential for long-term ministry in Japan.

We see these as potential opportunities for ministry in Japan, however, we simply desire to follow the Lord as he calls us into ministry
