In the past year, God has grown our ministry team from seven to ten. Praise the Lord with our entire team! We’d like to let Rie and Hannah introduce themselves this month and ask for your prayers over each of them as they transition to ministry together with us. We are continuing to pray for more workers, so please join us in asking the Lord to send His workers into His harvest field.
Rie Ueda: Hi, my name is Rie Ueda. I was born and raised at Utsunomiya, 100km north to Tokyo. I didn’t know the love of God for 49 years. One day, an American pastor told me about Jesus’ love at a coffee shop and turned my world upside down. Soon I gave my life to Jesus and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the same coffee shop. I have a 10 year-old son who loves Jesus. He has the Joy and Peace of God and likes to laugh and always encourages me.
I teach English to kids and adults and baby sign language at our house in Higashikurume Tokyo. I also teach Japanese language to missionaries. My heart is for Japanese kids and moms who yet know the love of Jesus. Also I have a burden for discipleship for my son and kids at our Kurume Christ Church. Thank you for praying for Tokyo and Japan!
Partnership Update:
34 @ 50 still needed!
34 @ 50 still needed!
We have been praying for 50 additional individuals, families or churches to partner with us in ministry. If each partner committed to $50 each month, our financial needs would be met. Over the past couple of weeks we have seen a few more partners come alongside us financially, praise God! We are still looking for 34 more commitments to meet this goal! Would you join us in prayer?
We thank the Lord for you and your partnership in the gospel!
